As a Psi Chi member, you will meet and interact with the top undergraduate and graduate psychology students at ASU and other universities, as well as psychology instructors and researchers. You will be given opportunities to interact with leaders in the field of psychology as well as future leaders. Students gain a sense of community with others in psychology and an identification with the discipline. Professional Development

Your experience as a Psi Chi member can do more than just build your resume. Active involvement will develope your leadership skills, provide opportunities for practical experience (both research and field), and help you make the right personal connections to break into the field, which can serve as a springboard to help you attain that first managerial or creative experience. Psi Chi encourages undergraduate student research at the regional and national as well as local levels through undergraduate and graduate research award competitions and provides opportunities for students to present research and receive certificates recognizing their accomplishments at regional and national psychological association meetings.
